Choosing a radio holder
Match the holder to your radio and to how you carry it. Hero's Pride radio holsters and holders come in three materials and in swivel or fixed styles, so you can set your radio at the angle and height that work for you.
Material
Leather AirTek holders offer a classic, formed look; ballistic nylon Ballistic and Ballistic TAC holders are lightweight and hard-wearing; polymer Edge and Flex holders are rugged and easy to clean. Choose the one that matches the rest of your duty gear.
Swivel or fixed
A swivel mount lets you rotate the radio toward your hand for a faster grab; a fixed holder sits lower-profile and stays put. Both hold the radio securely — pick by how you like to reach it.
Radio Holders — FAQ Radio holster or radio holder — what's the difference? Both carry a portable radio on your belt or vest; we use the terms interchangeably. Choose by material and by whether you want a swivel or fixed mount. Should I choose a swivel or a fixed holder? A swivel mount rotates so you can angle the radio toward your hand for a faster grab. A fixed holder sits lower-profile and stays put. Both hold the radio securely. What materials are available? Leather (AirTek), ballistic nylon (Ballistic and Ballistic TAC), and polymer (Edge and Flex). Match the material to the rest of your duty gear. Will these fit my radio? The universal-fit styles are built to hold most common portable duty radios. The fit for each model is listed on its product page. Can I mount these on a MOLLE vest? The Ballistic TAC and Flex models move between a duty belt and a MOLLE vest without extra parts. The others are belt-mounted. Are these in stock? The models shown on this page are in stock and ready to ship.
